Right over here…….it’s Spring!🤗
Well at least it is on the “Spring trail” Lol!😇
After splitting firewood today, Silvertop needed a nice long hike!
At the base of the “Spring” trailhead, Keith and Lynne have a large concrete well. This is how they constructed wells years ago. Today this type of well is not approved for home potable drinking water.
The reason being that the well drilling machinery needed to bore this large hole, can’t go deeper than about 30 feet.
This open up the possibility of contaminated groundwater entering the well. If sealed properly, and tested, these large wells can provide good water.
Just look at the third photo, Keith has so much excess water, that it is overflowing!😮
Did Silvertop say it was Spring!😇
The very first flowers to welcome Spring, are daffodils.
“ Liz, two days ago, we didn’t have any daffodils, suddenly they are everywhere!”☺️
I hiked onward uphill, today was a grey cloudy day!🙄
That’s OK……
Punxsutawney Phil, did not see his shadow, and the daffodils have arrived!
It is officially Spring!🤗😎

Ah... daffodils are coming up! Pretty soon, flowers!
I wandered lonely as a cloud

Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
