During the night the transition started…………
Snow to rain!😳
Silvertop bundled up, and hurried outside, to check on Liz’s car……and the condition of the roads!😮
A thick translucent layer of ice covered the windshield of her car!🙄
I can scrape this ice off, let’s see what the condition of our road is………………..
Silvertop had his good hiking boots on, the ones I wear climbing steep mountainsides.
I stepped out onto our road and started sliding downhill!😳
No way Liz is making it to work!🙄
Day three………..
Hmmm……………
I restocked the indoor firewood, and needed “outside” Lol!😇
“ Honey I’m hiking up to the pond, to see how things are above us!”🥰
Just minutes up our road I was met with headlights.
It was a pickup with a snow plow coming downhill!🤗
The driver stopped and rolled down the window…………..
“ Silvertop, I would have gotten here sooner but we are all busy, I live at the end of your street!”
This apparently is our new neighbor!
Out of the goodness of his heart he started plowing our road, even some driveways!😊
Liz thinks everyone needs to sign a thank you card, and chip in and pay him to do this going forward!😇
Especially since the county road crews have forgotten us Lol!
We were suddenly free!🤗
Silvertop road “shotgun” as the Mrs slowly drove our four-wheel-drive Suzuki to town, and a partial day at her work.
The mountain pass was still very treacherous, but passable!
“ Silvertop YOU are driving back home!”😳
“ I take it slow honey, it’s just so very nice to be free!”🤗

He is some guy that loves snow, and the Mountains!😇😀😁
It was the worst drive I've ever had! There was no way I was driving home and then wouldn't you know it.......the county FINALLY does it's job! Just my luck!😁

Can you imagine if nobody came for days?
Can you buy that contraption for your truck to clear the snow?
I remember in Colorado the man that owned the printing company I worked for told me you never want a snowplow!🙄
Apparently they break a lot and they are expensive to repair and operate @silversaver888!😳
In Colorado we had a snowplow service for our driveway. Every time it snowed, this man would come out with his pick up truck for $25 and clear your driveway so very nice!🤗
It's so nice that you just pay for the service!

After shoveling it by hand a few times it was very nice to pay $25 to have a driveway cleared very early in the morning before we even drove to work @silversaver888 !😇😊
