“ Look how many cars are parked at the Gold Mine trailhead Silvertop!”😳
The Mrs read Silvertop’s post yesterday about Bitcoin hidden at the Gold Mine, and she wanted to hike up to the Gold safe and check things out for herself!🥰
We started today’s hike late today…………..
“ 2 PM 🤔………….I just don’t want to be up in the Mountains in the dark Silvertop!”😍
No worries honey, we have plenty of time to reach the Gold Mine, and hike back down before dark!😇
Silvertop knew Sunset was officially 4:23 PM, then you still have a bit more time before the Cougars start hunting …Lol!😻
Storm clouds were coming, rain isn’t expected till tomorrow, so we were good to hike!😀
Jan followed Liz and Silvertop in her car to the trailhead, it’s about two road miles from our home.
Cars were parked everywhere………………
We hiked past numerous groups of hikers!
“ Silvertop maybe they are enjoying one of the last nice Saturdays hiking!”😇
Liz was a bit concerned about crossing “Hayden creek”!
“ Follow me Liz, see these rocks, you can step your way across the creek, then just be careful climbing up the muddy hill!”
Silvertop actually slipped on a wet slippery rock in the middle of the creek!🙄
“ Don’t go this way honey Lol!”😅
You can see in the fourth photo she was happy to successfully traverse across the stream!😍
We finally made it to the ridge ABOVE the Gold safe!
You can see in the second to last photo it’s a steep drop down to the Gold……or should I say Bitcoin!😇
Many more hikers were headed uphill, and daylight was waning………………
“ That’s odd Liz, it will be dark soon and that last large group is heading UP into the Mountains now”…..🤔
That’s when it dawned on Silvertop…………..
I reached into my pocket to show Jan one of the Bitcoin’s I “mined” just yesterday down below this ridge top, at the Gold safe!😇
The word is out my friends, Bitcoin is real!🤗
“ Shhh…….. honey, let’s not tell anyone Silvertop bagged the last BTC, and just enjoy today’s hike Lol!”🥰

It was a lovely hike! Probably one of the best last hikes of the year, I suspect.
I sure hope that last group was really headed to the cabin to camp for the night. I'd hate to think that they didn't think about it getting dark. The hike would be difficult in total darkness and dangerous; you never know when you'd go over an edge or something was hunting you😳

It looks like a nice, pleasant hike and you didn't get attacked by cougars either. Sounds like a great day. I hope it isn't too wet and rainy there today!

It was a great day, I wonder about a group we passed that was heading up into the mountain as it was getting dark…..🙄
Way too dangerous to be up there in the dark, but during the daylight, it’s a fantastic hike!😀
