“Up on the rooftop!”😊
Today was the calm after the storm!☺️
Silvertop was looking up…………….😮
The wind from the storm shook off a lot of Cedar boughs from our Old Growth tree in our front yard!
The gutters were completely filled to the top!😳
This pattern will repeat five or more times ( with Silvertop and his leaf blower) until all the trees are finished “Bracing” for the winter!
What looks like dead pine needles in the third photo, isn’t………..
This is how evergreen trees prepare for Winter, similar to deciduous trees dropping their leaves!😇
The ground is starting to become covered with these Cedar boughs, it will get much thicker !😲
Up on the trailhead, the trees on the hillside are just starting to turn colors!
The evergreen trees, like our Cedar trees, are the “Bellwether” of the changing of the seasons!😇
They lead the way, predicting Fall!😊
Good weather today, and the same for Saturday!😎

Mmmm… I can smell the cedar and pine from here, it’s intoxicating. The best place to live is in a cedar and pine forest. … The eucalyptus tree forests down in California are also nice. So much good clean oxygen to breathe …
I have read that the Northwest has very clean air, I can understand why with all the forest nearby!😊
