7 more veterans returning to High Point Rockers in 2022

Today Friday April 8th High Point Rockers announced 3 returning players. Pitchers Jonathon Crawford and Bryce Hensley as well as infielder Giovanny Alfonzo will be returning for the 2022 season. Yesterday we got word Jerry Downs, Johnny Field, and Tyler Ladendorf will be returning as well! Tyler was a Short Stop in 2019 that never came back in 2021 but is back for this season. Downs and Field are starters from last season and glad to see them back on the field! Bryce is a starter pitcher and Giovananny is a fan favorite that is starting his 3rd season with the Rockers.

Breaking news! Jheyson Manzueta will be returning according to Christian Heimall who is the General Manager of the High Point Rockers. He's been assigned to live with me for the 2022 season again! Jheyson joined the Rockers on the last month of the 2021 season and was worried be might not come back but it seems he's back and will be flying in from Dominican Republic soon to join the others!

I can't wait for this season to start! Training starts on Tuesday April 12 with an exabition match against Gastonia on Thursday April 14th. The season starts on April 21st!
