My Actifit Report Card: May 30 2024

Morning Walk

  • I extended my morning walk today by a few hundred feet, taking in part of a hill in my walk.
    There is a hill which looks like 4000 steps combined up and down, or twice my current walk of 2009 steps, so I took a portion of it today; 500 steps.
  • I needed to gauge the effect it had on my walk time and the response we of my knees and hips to the added distance.
  • It seemed to be easy done which surprised me.
  • I went halfway up the hill and then turned around to go down. It seemed to add only 400 steps, which was far less than my estimate, but I am also estimating the number of steps you go up and down.
  • I am not degening into the hill because I do not want to over do it and kill my exercise program.
  • I figure a little caution now will prolong my program

Flowers

  • There were of course flowers.

  • No walk would be complete without flowers and sunshine.
  • Today was no different with new white and yellow blooms along my walk. A cheerful site indeed.

Very good @actifit walk up the hill my friend!😄 You are so correct you do not want to overdo yourself, I think you are on the right path for your exercise program!!
