Playing Pickleball @ Dink Arena

Yesterday, I walked to Dink Arena to play pickleball. I thought I could make it before it rained but unfortunately, I failed and got caught in rain as I was halfway to the destination. I didn't take an umbrella so I got a bit wet. The walk was about twenty minutes with a bit of jogging since I was trying to get out of the rain. I took a picture outside of their place with their signage and you can clearly see that it's wet. It was actually a crazy day because we played from 7-9pm and then went to Mcdonald's. After that we played again from 11pm-1am and we were the last to leave the place.

Here you can see the pricing. I recommend giving this place a try because they have a CNY promo which is letting people book 2 hours for RM88. This is actually a super good deal because normally on non peak hours it would be RM55 per hour and RM70 for peak hours for VIP and RM 45 and RM60 for normal courts respectively.

This place has 19 courts and if I'm not wrong they might expand to have more courts. Five of their courts are VIP and the main difference at the moment is a couch area as well as a bit more space on the court. They said they were going to work on ventilation and the fences between the VIP courts. To be honest though, the ventilation right now sucks so expect it to be hot and sweaty if you play here.

During the later hours, every court was fully booked. When I initially went there a bit before 7pm, I saw the workers cleaning the courts and even measuring the net to make sure it's the right height. That's something nice to see because it shows that they care and there's quality control. For the normal courts, the space is a bit small outside of the court. Another big issue is the ball coming onto the court from other courts. I think it's still worth it to play here for the promotion price. I don't think this is the best place in terms of court and court space but it's near my house so I wouldn't mind going back.

Why not? I haven't seen anyone posting sports content on pickleball!

You will have the "first-mover" advantage!!

o.o um well maybe in the future. It's getting trendy. Plus I'm not really an expert so I don't plan to give advice or teaching. Mine's just mostly sharing my experience hehe
