Weekly Share Your Battle Challenge. Stone Golem.
Hey Guys.
What’s Up? How are you all holding up?
I hope that you all are well by the grace of Allah.
As promised I'm back again with another post of splinterlands. It's a new entry for this week's share your battle contest. In this post, I'll be sharing one of my ranked battles of splinterlands played with the fire splinter. I'll be discussing the lineup and strategy of this battle in this post. I'll also be sharing each and every detail of the monsters that I've used in this battle. I think I'll be able to explain the whole battle and describe every possibility of it. I hope you'll like it and it'll be enough for anyone to understand the battle strategy. Also, I hope that you like my thumbnail, I made the image by blurring a screenshot of the battle and then I downloaded the image of Stone Golem and the image of the logo of Splinterlands from https://www.splinterlands.com. And then I used adobe photoshop to complete it.
Now, let's get back to the main topic.
Link to My Battle
As you can see in the screenshot that I've added, that I used the Stone Golem in the first position. The Stone Golem is a rare beta monster that plays under the earth splinter. It's one of the strong defensive cards that play under the Earth Splinter. This monster has two shields and 6 lives. It's enough for a card to hold its first position. But this card has a special ability named shield ability. Because of this ability, this card gets only half of the actual damage from any kind of melee and ranged attacks. Which makes it strong enough to hold its position. It even gets another special ability named stun. This helps it to stun any enemy monster that gets a hit from this card and because of this that enemy monster skips its next attack. And in that way, this card becomes super strong. But, it's vulnerable to magic attacks. But, you've probably seen it in my lineup that my opponent player didn't even use a magic card and this is what made my winning easier.
Then I used the GOBLIN THIEF in the 2nd position. The GOBLIN THIEF is a common untamed monster that plays under the earth summoner. It's also one of the monsters that I use in almost every match that I play using the earth splinter. The reason behind this is, this monster has a 2 melee damage ability including the sneak ability. Which has been always helpful for me and even in this match this monster was a real help. Also, it has the sneak ability and it costs only a 4 mana cap to use in battles.
Then in the 3rd position, I used another card with melee+sneak attacking ability. It's the Sand Worm. This card is the most amazing and most strong melee attacking card that has the sneak ability. I don't own this card. But, it was one of my favorite cards and that's why I couldn't stop myself from using it and that's why I took this card from the market on rent and using it. But, the two bad part of it is it costs 9 mana caps to use in battle and it's quite slow in attacking.
Then in the end I used the MANTOID. It's a common untamed monster. This monster is a neutral monster. This means it doesn't play under some fixed summoners. It can play under every summoner. The main reason behind me using this monster is its 2 ranged attacking ability and the snipe ability of this monster. This snipe ability is really helpful in battles to take down ranged and magic monsters first.
It was all about my lineup and also about the reasons to put each card in its position including the abilities of the cards.
Strategy
In this battle my strategy was to hold the attacks using the Spineback Turtle and by the time my magic attacking monsters will kill the opponent's monsters. Though the Spineback Turtle wasn't able to hold for longer, I still won the match because the enemy's first monster had less life and felt down easily.
Did I use this Pirate Captain often?
I use this card in most of the battles that I play using the water splinter. The reason is it costs less mana cap and also has the snipe ability.**
This was all about the battle, lineup, and strategy. Now let’s know about this card which is the main topic. The STONE GOLEM.
Stone Golem.
*The STONE GOLEM is a rare beta edition card that plays under the water splinter. It costs 3 mana caps to use in battle, it has the melee attacking ability which has the power to damage 1 life/shield. This card has a special ability named shield ability.

Explanation about this card from SPLINTERLANDS (splinterlore).
The question may have already appeared that I’m writing a post to join some contest. But where are the details about the contest?
Here are the details.
There amazing thing is ongoing in this blockchain for almost 3 years maybe and I'm a part of it for more than 2 years. So, it's not something new but I think there's still someone who doesn't know about it or isn't a part of it yet.
This amazing thing is the ongoing contest of splinterlands. By now I guess most of you know what SPLINTERLANDS is. It's an online card game. Though it's not only a game, in here you can earn by playing, trade by buying and selling. You will also get amazing rewards in the daily quests and also in season-ending quests. This is one of the best card games that I've ever played. The fun thing is, there's a lot of cards/monsters to use in battle. And when I say a lot, I mean it. And all of them have their own specialty, separate types of powers and so many types of special abilities. There are even some summoners under those the cards play. These summoners also have their own ability which affects the battlefield. This is really amazing. This gives you the chance to think of hundreds of strategies for your battle. Believe me, once you start playing this game you'll fall in love with it.
All of these are my personal opinion about @splinterlands and their contest. And if you find it interesting, you are welcome to join SPLINTERLANDS. I'm also putting my referral link to make it easy for you to join if you want. There are already some people who joined splinterlands using my refer. You’re also welcome to join.
