Ashutosh Sharma’s Game-Changing Innings: The Stuff of IPL Dreams
Cricket is a very big thing over here in India, and the Indian Premier League is one of the pinnacles of this port in India. There is something that everyone looks forward to every single year whenever it is on the brink of beginning. It is the beginning of summer when it arrives, and it is a very big festival for the entire two months of time whenever it is existing.
There are many big dreams as well as a lot of marquee players who are scattered across different franchises and the fan base is built along with that there are a lot of expectations from every single franchise and their fans that they are going to win it for them this year. The season for this year has also begun and it is just about 3 days after the season has started we have already seen some amazing matches that tell about the Hype above the league as well.
Last night was a famous match between Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants which was a bit less talked about match in comparison to the other games that I already have played especially after the CSK versus MI game which was the most talked about match of the season because they are the most successful teams of the league itself.
But the game that happened last night was awesome as something that is a really a thriller match because the tables were turning every noun then in the first inning itself, it was fairly looking forward towards it going to be a strong game for Lucknow and they were at a very good position for half of the innings and in the latter half of the same meanings Delhi capitals came back in a very strong fashion and then it was looking likely that Delhi restricted Lucknow at very less score then what they could have achieved.
As per many experts and critics, Lucknow is the team that is going to be one of the worst teams of this year and that is something that pressures the demit cells but it was something that was not very much visible when they came out to bad in the first innings we played a blistering inning along with Nicolas Pooran and smell who both scored about 17 runs each in a very quick fashion which propelled Lucknow to a very big score and it was looking likely that they would cross the 250 mark for sure but then in the next 10 overs of the innings Delhi came back very strongly and restricted them at 210 only.
After which Delhi seemed to be very confident enough to change the target down because the pitch was also seen to be something that was assisting the battle squirt a lot and it was something that looked to be chasable total but then the Lucknow bowlers came back very strongly and shorted Delhi for a very low score and the score language reading at a point which was 7/3 and later it progressed to a score of 65 for 5 and the required when the rate was also moving over 12 at a point at the halfway stage.
But then out of nowhere the debutant Viraj Nigam played a very good cameo of 39 runs from just 15 balls but sadly got dismissed and later on Ashutosh Sharma took over the entire responsibility of Chasing down the total on himself and played up blinder of an innings and ended up chasing the total alone in the letter part and winning of the game by himself in the end and choosing down the total by just one wicket remaining for the team.
It was a very close game and thriller that was something which was appreciated by everyone and the innings that Ashutosh played or something very nice to see as he is a young player and showed the class and skills that he possesses. All in all, it was a fabulous game and was very entertaining the summer of India officially began with IPL in its full Glory just 3 days after its arrival which is actually why it is so popular and so loud here in India.
