There !INDEED should be clear distinctions between what needs to be fixed (in the case of bugs) which need to be applied as soon as possible, and what needs to be improved (in the case of requested features) which can be delayed until all known bugs are fixed. 🤔🧘‍♂️🤓😏

Certain Linux distributions are known for their stability, where feature implementations are delayed (at least on the main repositories) until they are deemed stable by the respective distro community. 🤔🧘‍♂️🤓

Indeed there are, though there is a balance that should be reached between stability and staying reasonably up-to-date in terms of software and the kernel. Arch Linux is often considered bleeding-edge, but honestly I've been running the same 3 Arch installations for more than 6 years now, and while they do have hiccups here and there, things have been remarkably smooth in that time. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

Even some of the "most stable" Linux distributions have "beta" and "nightly" versions (or their equivalents) for users who want to try out the latest features without the need to use another distro. 🤔🤓😏

Looks like I would need another computer to try out Arch Linux! 🤔🤯🤓

Yes, indeed, that's true. Arch Linux allows you to enable the testing repositories, which would have the same effect.

Not necessarily, you could easily create a dual-boot with your present OS. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

The Linux distributions that are heavily focused on security seem to be those that don't support (or heavily discourage) testing repositories which might undermine the security which is the primary feature of such distributions. 🤔🤯

I think I'm one of those who prefer not to use dual-boot operating systems, especially when at least one OS is to be used only for testing. 🤯😅
