Last class of Holy Week 🙏 Última clase de Semana Santa - My Actifit Report Card: April 16 2025
Today Holy Wednesday, the Catholic parishioners attend the church for the usual mass and also perform the procession of the Nazarene, which is the image of Jesus Christ carried through the streets of the city.
Until today the gym is working and we said goodbye for a few days for Holy Week, the girls came up with the idea to go dressed in the colors of the Nazarene, purple or lilac and accessories to match, I only have a purple short that I had not used to go out and I put it on with some embarrassment for lack of habit. The dance class was very good because it was led by two teachers and lasted from 8 to 9:30 am. We ended up very exhausted.
However, afterwards I did my leg workout routine using the press with no weight on each leg at a time, did the dead weight, and used two other machines that I can't remember their names.
Hoy Miércoles Santo, los feligreses católicos asisten a la iglesia para la misa habitual y también realizan la procesión del Nazareno, que es la imagen de Jesús Cristo cargada por las calles de la ciudad.
Hasta hoy labora el gimnasio y nos despedimos por unos días por la Semana Santa, a las chicas se les ocurrió ir vestidas con los colores del Nazareno, morado o lila y accesorios que combinarán, yo solo tengo un short morado que no había usado para salir y me lo puse con algo de vergüenza por falta de costumbre. La clase de baile estuvo muy buena porque la dirigieron dos profesores y se extendió desde las 8 hasta las 9.30 am. Terminamos muy agotadas.
Sin embargo, después realicé mi rutina de ejercicios para las piernas usando la prensa sin peso en cada pierna por vez, hice el peso muerto, y usé otras dos máquinas que no recuerdo su nombre.
On my way out I met the procession and joined the crowd, it is the first time I participated in these religious rituals of the Nazarene procession and the experience was nice and enriching for me, as I took the opportunity to pray and get in touch with God through his son, asking for my mom's health and my own, the energy that was felt was special and although there was a scorching sun the people stood firmly in their procession.
With live sacred music by a band accompanying us, I walked several blocks. In tune with the people, I hope that all of them in their hearts take with them the hope they need, the strength to face the difficulties and the renewed faith to move forward.
The next few days I will not exercise, but I will go for a walk and visit a temple. I wish you a happy Holy Wednesday, I send you a big hug. Thank you for reading and supporting me.
Al salir me encontré con la procesión y me uní a la multitud, es la primera vez que participó en estos rituales religiosos de la procesión del Nazareno y la experiencia fue linda y enriquecedora para mí, pues aproveché de orar y ponerme en contacto con Dios a través de su hijo, pidiendo por la salud de mi mamá y la mía propia, la energía que se sentía era especial y aunque había un sol abrasador las personas se mantenían con firmeza en su procesión.
Con música sacra en vivo por una banda que nos acompañaba, caminé varias cuadras. En sintonía con las personas, espero que todos ellos en sus corazones se lleven la esperanza que necesitan, la fortaleza para afrontar las dificultades y la fe renovada para seguir adelante.
Los próximos días no haré ejercicio, pero sí saldré a caminar y visitar algún templo. Les deseo un feliz Miércoles Santo, les envío un abrazo grande. Gracias por leer y apoyarme.
