Greetings everyone, the world cup continues and the fun with that also. Remembering a line from Eminem's rap "The Shit's about to get heavy" I feel it is going to happen. This is just the start of the cup and there will be so much more about to happen in the matches ahead.

Recently the match that happened between the USA and Wales was just insane. I was not able to attend the complete match because it was 1 AM and had to wake up at 6 in the morning I was not able to attend but did watch for the first 10-15 minutes and that was good.

If you remember, I did a prediction in my last post and said that I did vote for the TIE between the two and that actually happened to have a look:

This feels so good when you have just learned how to read the odds and do some predictions and you can at least achieve something out of it. Anyways, let's talk about the main topic.

Argentina and Saudi Arabia

I was so overconfident, really overconfident that we would be recognizing an easy win by Argentina, and by the first half that thought was almost out of my mind. Messi, tried 3-4 times and 1 time the goal did goal, and not just this, there were 2-3 times the goal also did happen but that WAS NOT COUNTED because of offside!

What happened then?
The second half started and SA took the complete match in their hands scoring back two back 2 goals, my personal opinion: I feel Argentina was kind of overconfident after the first half's performance, I do not know if this is even correct but from their gameplay, I feel this could. After those devastating scores for Argentina SA, SA did not give them any good chance to score, and therefore Argentina ultimately lose.

My prediction here was Argentina and...it went wrong...unfortunately...was unexpected too but again as the saying goes by Thomas Shelby,

"That was the past, and the past is not my Concern."

That is why my prediction went wrong with Denmark and Tunisia as well where I predicted Denmark to be winning but they had a fricking draw. To be honest I was sleepy while deciding and analyzing who to win. This does not mean that it is the blame of them, haha but rather of myself only, I remember I just slept the minute I voted for Denmark.

Anyways again, we had another match an hour or 2 after...

I am telling you, I was very doubting myself when I was thinking who can win here and I remember spending like half an hour deciding this although I was having free time so I did some research and you know what I came to my conclusion to be?

God damn it...
I watched the last 20 minutes of the match including the last 10 of the regulation time of 90 minutes and 7 minutes which were further added. I was doing some work that was why I could not able to attend before.

Feels good you know...

Following this, we are having the match between France and Australia, the 2018 world cup winners. My prediction for this one is France because they are firstly in good form and the odds are favoring France a lot more.
The draw is not an option I feel is going to happen althought, although both teams are very strong and if they play very well we can have one, Here is the graph I prepared for the past 5 matches of the teams...

But! If you see, Australia is much better as of now considering that they have not even lost but rather continuously won their previous 5 matches. This is the only thing that is creating doubt in my mind regarding if France is even a good choice but let's see what happens, would be sharing it in the next posts.

Then we even have Morocco vs Croatia for that, I have chosen Croatia, and would be sharing some other time why, till then you can request this graph representing their past 5 match results.

Sadly, there was an injury in today's Argentina and Saudi Arabia match during the extra time which was added and following the idea of sportsmanship, Argentina players did a very well job by covering SA players from Cameras out there.

Winning and Losing matters, but note more than following the true spirit of the game.
