How La liga Lost Its Taste After Years Of Dominating
Blessings be onto the old eras, where we only watch la liga matches, most especially when barçe or real madrid are in action. These where games we wouldn't want to miss, as fans where ready to adjust their schedules, just to watch ronaldo or messi in action.
Sometimes, this two super stars, who have being argued to be the greatest players of all time, has met in exciting fixtures titled El Clásico.
Lets not dive deep, as it is better to dice this interest topic bit by bit.
Lets quickly take a look at the brief history of the spanish la liga, so we can introduce the main content properly.
Brief History Of La liga
According to the few things i read on wikipedia, La liga is a senior men's team league competition, that involves 20 teams from the spanish league, competing for the title. Three(3) teams that finds themselves at the bottom of the table, are usually relegated to the second division of the spa ish league.
La liga has being known for their establishment in the UEFA champions league, with the spanish side having more trophies than other leagues. Clubs that have dominated the league so far, are Real madrid, Barcelona, Athletic Club, Real Sociedad and Valencia.
Their domestic cups are Copa del Rey and Supercopa de España. They also feature in international cup games like the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, and UEFA Europa Conference League.
The Spanish La liga introduced a very exciting fixtures titled El Clásico, which was a rivalry fixture between Real madrid and Barcelona. This fixture is considered to be the most watched sporting activity, as millions of people are being showed watching this game online.
This rivalry is so exciting, that the players takes every game personal. Lionel messi, who has being one of the greatest player during El Clásico fixtures, has always being in the negative end of Sergio Ramos and Pepe. Ramos combination with Pepe was the best strategy used by Real madrid, to stop lionel messi from performing magic.
I guess i have written enough about la liga, though it is interesting, but i don't want to deviate from the context.
How La liga Lost Its Taste
As la liga attained a great height in football, it started loosing taste, has fans don't longer go to stadium for matches.
This whole saga started when Cristiano Ronaldo made a move to Juventus in 2018. The whole story changed, as we saw millions of fans switching clubs too. The story of the El Clásico was not longer something to listen to, as people now watch messi in action.
Along the line, the global pandemic hit the world, with football activities also getting affected. This also contributed to the issue on ground, but not up to 10%.
It would have being possible to see all stadium getting filled to their capacity, if ronaldo was still present.
The whole saga became worse, when lionel messi joined Paris-Saint- German in 2021. Things did not work out for him and barçe, which lead to his departure. Ever since then, we can't even talk properly of the spanish la liga.
What The La liga Board Fail To Understand
The board clearly, could not accept the fact that, la liga was booming with the presence of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
Who Did La liga Lost The Glory To ?
Without even stating it, we all know who currently holds the first spot in football, and that is the English Premier League. This league is regarded as the most difficult league, with lots of talents spreading across every club.
You can't be a football lover and don't support any english club.
My Opinion
I don't think, we would have a better era, such as that of Lionel messi in Barçe, challenging Cristiano Ronaldo in Real madrid. The El Clásico is an era that would be greatly missed by football fans all over. I hope to see that in the english premier league someday.
In Conclusion
It is so painful that we wont be hearing the word El Clásico again, because it has being withdraw by the authorities. It is now a normal barcelona vs real madrid, or real madrid vs barcelona.
Lets learn how to preserve what we have, or we might just end up loosing it to others.
So my question for us all today, is ...

b) To comply with the requirements copyright owner when you are using a copyrighted image, or in the case of a free image as an expression of gratitude in the form of advertisement for the copyright owner.
If you are the copyright owner who has labored to provide the image free, wouldn't you appreciate such a gesture? Remember when you simply provide a clickable link titled "Source" not many would know who the copyright owner is or would bother to click the link to find out.
Hope this helps.
