Story of a Dead Wall Fan & Actifit Report - February 17 2023

Hello community members,
Let me share the story of a dead wall fan.
How it all started?
- As you all know, I am a geek / nerd.
- I prefer to work everyday
- But over the weekends, It is needed to spend time with family.
- And "Spending Time with family" is also sometimes, doing what family is asking for.
What was I asked? - Clean the Fan
- I was asked to clean the dirty fan.
- Well, there are many ways to clean it but like I said, you've to ask the opinion.
- How do you think - I should be doing?
- First attempt was based on YouTube recommendation 😥
- Let's try spraying the some solution on the Fan directly & dirt will drop off.
How did Attempt-1 Go?
- It didn't go so well.
- We ended up with a dirty wall
- Oh Dear. It really went bad. It's still there.
- So what? 🤷 We gotta keep trying - I've been assigned a task & I gotta make more attempts.
Attempt-2 - Dismentle Fan
- So, In the next attempt, I started dismentling the fan
- Initially it looked good.
- Blades are clean (ofcourse not 100%)
- Saftey net is also clean (only the front part)
What went wrong in Attempt - 2?
- I tried dismantling the rear part of the safety-net of the fan.
- It didn't work. I removed all bolts but for some reason, I couldn't get it off.
- Oh boy! Something went terribly wrong. Motor stopped spinning & started heating.
- I am screwed. That's what happens when I take screw-driver in hand.
- Now, job will be tossed off to the electrician 🤦
- Never mess with things which you don't know.
So, what now?
- Well, that Wall-fan is dead. Unfortunately that's the fan I use.
- Temperature is as high as 34℃ here.
- I hope during the night, it will be little managable.
- And let's hope that, electrician will arrive at the time that he promised.
Any way, enought about the wall fan.

- Forget steps, I don't get chance to finish work 🙁

- My goal is to finish 10 KMs per day

- I intend to burn 1200kcal daily
- Not going as per planned
