Then Daniel Hughes and Moises Henriques made 57 runs strong partnership. Henriques scored 28 runs in 18 balls. Hughes scored 59 runs in 45 balls including 7 fours. Daniel Christian scored 32 runs in 24 balls. Finally Sydney scored total 178 runs by 6 wickets. Michael Naser picked up 3 wickets. Mark Steketee and Labuschagne each took 1 wicket.


In reply Brisbane Heat's hard hitter Chris Lynn had gone early at 19 runs. Then Brisbane lost total 4 wickets just for scoring 43 runs. Jimmy Peirson came out and made 84 runs big partnership with Max Bryant. Jimmy scored 42 runs in 43 balls including 5 fours and 1 six. Bryant played a very slow innings and scored 56 runs in 55 balls. Finally Brisbane scored total 151 runs by 8 wickets.


Sydney's bowlers performed really well. Hayden Kerr picked up 3 wickets for 23 runs in 4 overs. Ben Dwarshuis picked up 2 wickets. Steve OKeefe, Sean Abbott, Nathan Lyon each took 1 wicket. Daniel Hughes was player of the match.
