There is a quote by Bill Shankly about football.
Which is “Some people think football [soccer] is a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.”
If you're a football fan, you'll almost certainly agree with Bill Shankly on this point. Football is more than just a game. It initiates emotion, it initiates rivalry, it elicits memories and love, and so on. It encompasses much more than just life and death. I don't have a large number of acquaintances. I only have a few, but they are extremely valuable to me. The majority of them became acquainted with me through football. The majority of them I met while participating in a game or while visiting a game. For this reason, this sport holds a special place in my heart as an avid football supporter.

It was recently that two heartwarming events happened in the world of football. Virginia Torrecilla was diagnosed with a brain tumor in December of 2017. It was necessary for her to undergo chemotherapy treatment before returning to the field. We are all aware of how difficult it is to live with this type of disease. Because she was a warrior, she was able to make a comeback. Her previous club was her opponent in the match after she returned to the field after a brief respite. FC Barcelona was the team. Prior to joining Atletico Madrid, she was a member of the FC Barcelona Femini team. As you can see in the gif, she was honoured by her former teammates. It was the epitome of sportswomanship and fair play on the field.

Devin Plank, who was recently diagnosed with cancer, also underwent chemotherapy treatment. As he returned to the field as a substitute, both the Ajax and the Excelsior players gave him a guard of honor. He walked onto the pitch with a smile on his face, and this is without a doubt one of the happiest moments of his life.

These were the two most beautiful incidents that occurred in the sporting world this past week, as described above. These two incidents simply demonstrate that football is much more than a game. It is all about the emotions, feelings, joy, and respect that are shared between the players. The legendary football coach Bill Shankly was absolutely correct when he said, "Football is much more than a game of life and death."
