The month of November is almost complete. Time to write goals for 2024. However, instead of focusing on 2024, God willing, I want to make a goal that will guide me for eight more years. 2023 is my second year on Hive.

In this goal, $HIVE Power (HP) and $HBD deserve priority. Whatever layer two tokens I am investing in right now have the long-term intention to increase both these primary tokens, and that includes even $LEO.

Among the numerous tokens I am holding right now, I just want to focus on six of them. The reason is obvious. It is for curation strategy.

Among the six selected tokens in my list, I acknowledged that three of them are not so popular. Based on the recent post of one whale, one would be leaving Hive, and the other one, reading a post last night, would seem to be invited to shift its focus from Hive to BSC. Not sure if the creator of the Hive front-end would entertain such an invitation. The third one as far as I know, though unpopular remains committed to Hive.

Of the other three, of course, $LEO is the most popular and is my number one Hive Engine token. With its current market price and out of the total of $624.00 I invested in Hive Engine tokens, $LEO got $271.00. When I was introduced to this token way back in 2021, I never thought that I would be investing such an amount in a layer two token.

Of course, many would consider such an amount insignificant, but that's the beauty of the opportunity we have here on Hive, the potential and power of micro-investing.

As for the remaining two tokens, though their price tells us that the market sentiment toward them is unfavorable, nevertheless, as I observe the top holders, I consider these two as more popular than the first three I mentioned above.

In curating content on Hive, I will be using three accounts with each account focusing on specific tribes. I hope that in the coming months, my wife and my second son will be motivated to use their Splinterlands accounts, for that's how they obtained their Hive accounts.

@rzc24-nftbbg will be dedicated to curating content in the Leo tribe.

@arlenec2021 will focus on the SportsTalkSocial community.

@kopiko-blanca will focus on four tribes. So far, the account has substantial power in the first two tribes and not so much in the other two tribes. I hope to grow the account's stakes in those two tribes in the coming months.

And so here's the chart that shows how this curation strategy will be worked out:

As you can see, $POB has the lowest stakes. In fact, earlier in 2022, I already accumulated some amount of $POB but due to a negative comment coming from an Orca, I got swayed and sold the token. It is good that in recent months, I have observed a few Hivians silently accumulating the token and I just want to follow them.

If SoMee will really leave Hive, I don't know what will happen to $SME. If it goes to zero, so be it. I will consider it as part of the risk of investing in a crypto project. I only know little about its history and I also don't like what I see how big holders of the token utilize their power. At least I know a whale that doesn't approve of such a practice. While accumulating the token, my focus in curation is more on the creator who exerted an effort in producing their content.

My $CTP stakes include the token on listnerds.com. I wish to see the platform soon return to its normal operation so I can transfer the token to Hive Engine for curation.

The Sports Talk Social tribe is another community that seems strange to many Hivians. Nevertheless, despite its unpopularity, I see Hivians with a high reputation publishing sports-related content on the front end. If I am mistaken in my choice, so be it.

The last but not the least is the $LEO token. As I already said, this is the number one Hive Engine token in my wallet. Currently, I have 5,235 $LEO Power plus the delegation from three accounts:

• 5,500 from @trumpman2

• 140 from @arlenec2021, and

• 276 from @kopiko-blanca

In closing, I am mindful of the biblical reminder that it is man who proposes or plans, but it is God who disposes. I like how the translators of NIV render it:

Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails (Proverbs 19:21).

The text does not mean that plans are useless. It does mean that it is proper for us humans to make a plan, but ultimately, we should recognize that it is the Lord's purpose that will prevail.

And besides, no one knows how the future will unfold. Life is so uncertain. We also don't know for sure what will be the outcome of this fight on decentralization. Of course, I hope that those who know better are correct that a decentralized entity like Hive is untouchable. Furthermore, I am also not sure if codes are really reliable. I am thinking of the human factor behind the code.

Nevertheless, despite the above uncertainties I have in mind, I will be satisfied if still alive to look back a few years from now to this plan that I made either I hit or missed it or is there anything I overlooked?
