Almost complete 1980s Red Huffy BMX - My Actifit Report Card: March 7 2024

So I’m near completion on a red Huffy. I purchased the BMX bike at the local swap meet over a month ago, and it was a complete bike with aftermarket stem, handlebars and saddle.

Last month, I purchased a blue Huffy frame and fork with the original stem and handlebars.

I polished the stem and bars from the blue frame and now they steer the Red Huffy BMX. I put a little shine on the original seatpost and put an old BMX saddle on the bike.

It needs retro grips for the bars and a cool saddle and she is daily rider to the post office.

I’ve always had bicycle addiction, but now I have the time to hunt down parts and bikes on a dime and build the bikes from my childhood.
