Old mervyns merchandise table - My Actifit Report Card: February 15 2024
My neighbor has the ultimate road bike collection and does amazing restorations, so I ask him a lot questions about repairs and other bike stuff.
His wife had asked me to help her to invest in crypto a few years ago, and most of her shit coins turned to shit, but she still gave me this large mervyns merchandise table from back in the glory days here in California.
It’s heavy duty and only needs a handful of screws to assemble. The original table top weighs over 100 pounds and has seen better days, so I’m going to build a table top.
I have an old fence gate for a temporary work area, and I polished three old bicycle pieces using the table.
I buy cheap bikes whenever they show up locally, because the parts save me a lot of money. I changed out an old large rear wheel cog with a smaller cog from a girl’s schwinn bike.
I built another bmx bike today, and disassembled two kids bikes.
I’m having a lot of fun building bikes and repairing bikes.
I cycled 7 miles in the dark, and was completely spent after the ride. Stronger every day.
I purchased a 1960s muscle bike from a guy who buys mini storages and I started working on the ape hanger handlebars this evening
