[ESP - ENG] Ensalada Cesar 🥗 + Pollo 🍗+ Maní 🥜 // Caesar salad 🥗 + Chicken 🍗+ Peanuts 🥜

This salad is one of my favorites and although it is not an inexpensive dish, recreating it at home is satisfying. Regularly, the basic ingredients that make up this salad are its delicious anchovy dressing, fresh lettuce, crunchy bread croutons, a sprinkling of Parmesan cheese and that's it. In other presentations you can also add chicken and shrimp, a brutal combination. I have tried several recipes and presentations but here is my personal recipe.
Ingredientes // Ingredients
✓1 pechuga picada en cuadritos sazonada con sal y pimienta al gusto + cebolla rallada o mostaza.
✓1 bolsita de crotones de 180-200 gramos (puedes hacerlo tú mism@ con pan cuadrado o de molde picado en cuadritos, llevado al horno por 10 minutos a 150° o en un sartén).
✓Un puñado de maní o semillas de girasol (pipas) al gusto.
✓Queso polvito o queso parmesano en polvo.
✓1 iceberg lettuce (to know its ideal size, put your hands together forming a circle with your fingertips as if you were holding a ball inside them).
✓1 diced breast seasoned with salt and pepper to taste + grated onion or mustard.
✓1 bag of croutons of 180-200 grams (you can make it yourself with square or sliced bread cut into squares, baked in the oven for 10 minutes at 150° or in a frying pan).
✓A handful of peanuts or sunflower seeds (pipas) to taste.
✓Powdered cheese or Parmesan cheese powder.
Para el aderezo // For the dressing:
✓1 cucharada de mostaza.
✓2 cucharadas de Azúcar o miel.
✓20 ml de leche líquida.
✓1 cucharada de salsa de soya.
✓2 cucharadas de queso parmesano.
✓1 diente de ajo machacado.
✓Sal al gusto.
✓4 tablespoons of mayonnaise.
✓1 tablespoon of mustard.
✓2 tablespoons of sugar or honey.
✓20 ml of liquid milk.
✓1 tablespoon of soy sauce.
✓2 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese.
✓1 crushed garlic clove.
✓Salt to taste.

Preparación // Preparation
Step 1. Wash iceberg lettuce with water and vinegar. Place it to drain and then let the excess water drain on a clean cloth to dry. Once the lettuce is dry, begin to separate the layers and you can chop the leaves with clean hands or with the help of a knife. Set aside.

Step 2. Fry the chicken cubes over low heat until well seared and cooked on all sides. Set aside.

Step 3. To prepare the dressing: place all the ingredients in a deep bowl and add them one by one, in any order except for the Parmesan cheese. Taste if you like it a little sweeter, saltier or in between.

Step 4. In a large bowl, place all the ingredients and add the dressing little by little. Mix all the ingredients in an enveloping way. If you like it a lot, pour it all 😍 Otherwise, you can keep the rest in the fridge. You can garnish it with more parmesan cheese on top and that's it.
