Chelsea was not bad
Chelsea played a good game of football against Manchester City. I thought they would play really badly with the mighty team that has Haaland with his scoring prowess. At home, the home team managed to play nicely and created chances. Had it not been the cross bar they would have scored early on.
Haaland did not score and that has to be the highlight of the Chelsea defence. They played well in the midfield and controlled the game. There was not much to separate the two teams except for that Mahrez goal. But, winning is everything in football and that’s what good teams do. Despite playing mediocre, City found a way to score and grab three points. Good for them.
Graham Potter should be restless now as they have lost three PL matches out of five they played. They are playing Fulham next. He should also be worried that Sterling and Pulisic were injured in the first half. Hope they are ready for the next game.
