Arsenal still at the TOP
The first gameweek after the worldcup pause of 44 days, Arsenal managed to secure a win.
I was curious to know if this Arsenal side is any different than the other Arsenal sides who squandered their good run of form. Looks like Arteta's side is still playing good football.
They were down 1-0 at one point until they fought back to score 3 goals to make it 3-1 in total.
It was almost a perfect match for Arteta where the team had to show their winning character.
They fought back, played well and scored three amazing goals. Saka, Martinelli and Nketiah scored brilliant goals.
It is good to see that this young team is playing well against all odds and are five points clear at the top of the table. Man City were 1-0 up against Leeds until half time and if they managed to keep this score line or score more, they would climb up the table to their second position.
There were viral photos on Twitter that showed Wenger at the stands applauding the players. He must be happy with the team and the performance. Let's see how the team fares against the pressure from the other team and from their own confidence going forward.
