For this one, I could not resist but to dig up this 15-year-old photo to share. Even though the photo quality is low, the hat is amazing.

Upon looking at this, one might think, this person has some screws loose. What in the world would a watermelon be on his head for? Well, I was not able to locate a photo from one of the seasons where I made a hat out of a real watermelon for playoffs, so this one would have to do.

Back in my hometown in the province of Saskatchewan, growing up we did not have many local sports teams to cheer for. Therefore, our beloved Saskatchewan Roughriders meant the most to this province in central Canada.

Rider fans are known to be the most passionate in the country. We sell out every game, every season, and merchandise sales for just the Riders are higher than the rest of the CFL teams combined.

It is safe to say, we are a bit nutty. As I am sure you have noticed as we put watermelons on our heads.

This may not be a hat of the world, but it is a hat of our world 😂
