At the start of the first league of the Champions league. We saw teams tasting very bitter defeats against competitive opponents.
We saw the likes of Chelsea being defeated by Borussia Dortmund for the first time in the competition. That was the first time these two sides goes toe to toe with each other. Adeyemi scored the only goal in the match in the 63rd minute of the match and the match ended 1-0 win for Dortmund.
