How To Confuse The Attacker In A Fight - Self Defense

You know how to fight. When you make your move and strike, the attacker will not stand there and get hit. He will attack you back or try to defend your attack. The attacker can be good at fighting. Who knows? Never underestimate your opponent.

You know how to punch and kick. If you find it difficult to hit the attacker penetrating his defense, what can you do?

You are the defender. All you want is to defend yourself and go back home alive. Now you are in a fight, and even you cannot run from there. You can confuse attackers making a little different move. I have made a post recently - How Effective Is It To Do Front Kicks For Self Defense. And I talked about how you can use the front kick to defend yourself.

The attacker is a tough fighter. He even blocks your front kick. So you can raise your raise to do the front kick, but from there, you can do sidekick. Or, you can do raise your leg, and it looks like you are about to do a front kick, but then you change the direction and do swing kick. Now he will be confused where you are going to hit with your kick. And he will find it hard to defend.

At this moment, you can do simple front kicks, sidekicks, or roundhouse kicks and penetrate the attacker's defense. He would think you might do something else because he got hit before, and you make him pretty confused with your moves.

You can kick the attacker's leg, that's effective. Again you can kick the attacker, but you can change the direction of the kick and do high kick instead. He will be more confused. You can throw a punch. It's a jab. When he is about to block the punch, you can kick him.

You can even confuse the attacker with punch and palm strike. You can punch to distract him, and then you can do palm strike. When he is going to defend palm strike, and you get close to him, you can do elbow strike, knee change, hammer fist, and chop.

You can do a lot of things. One move will not work in every situation. You need to make your moves based on the situation. And when you get a chance, and you can run, just run. It is not that you have to fight till the end and you have to be a champion or something. All you want is to protect yourself.
