Defending Against Gang Attacks
If fighting with a single opponent is difficult, fighting with multiple opponents is like a nightmare. When you have to fight for self defense, don't expect it would be nice, clean and with honor. As a matter of fact, it is not a fair fight. And the possibility is endless.
So how can you defend yourself against gang attacks?
When you see there are two or more people, don't assume they are the only ones who are going to attack you. One guy can shout and say something to draw your attention. You should observe the whole situation. Don't just focus on one thing or one guy. Most of the time, you see the person who does not talk much makes the first strike.
When you fight with guys who are in front of you, someone can attack you from behind. You cannot see that, so there is a high chance you are going to get hit. At the time of fighting with multiple attackers, stand in a fighting stance and make sure you can move in any direction and keep an eye around you.
You often find yourself in the middle while defending yourself against gang attacks. This is a vulnerable position. What you always try to do is to move and keep the attackers in front of you.
Another technique you can apply and it is based on the situation, that is, make it difficult for them to attack you at once. If you can prevent them from coming towards all together, that's better. Now you can deal with one or two attackers at a time.
When you fight, try to find a way to escape. If you can run and get out of there, then run. It is not that you have to fight all of them and be a winner. If you can get out of there and go back home alive, that's all that matters. You are fighting not to prove something. You are fighting to defend yourself.
