Naby Keita Is Flourishing

I have always rated Naby Keita as a player since his Salzburg days and I was super excited when he signed for Liverpool. Unfortunately, he didn't get much playing time, for some strange reason.

His performances for the club were pretty good but then he would miss the next game. And perhaps that was down to workhorse Wijnaldum in front of him but Wijnaldum's attacking threat had been pretty muted in his later seasons.

This season looked to be no different but with an unfortunate injury to a teammate, he now finds himself playing more and that understanding with Mo Salah is flourishing. Maybe it is the form of Salah bringing his standards up too but you can see how well the two have linked up in the last couple of games.

I am looking forward to see Keita playing more as Liverpool have lacked that all action midfielder since Steven Gerrard left the club. A pity that we will lose him at the same time that we lose Mane and Salah.
