Liverpool Played Superbly Against Atletico

Liverpool have qualified for the last 16 of the Champions League with two games to spare and their two wins against a team like Atletico are very impressive.

Atletico knocked them out of the Champions League last season and that team was so injury struck that they didn't put up much of a fight.

Two games without scoring for Mo Salah and maybe it is time to give him a rest. He has been playing non-stop and is bound to be tired. Maybe he just needs to recharge for a bit to get back to that devastating form.

Bobby Firmino had to be taken off with an injury which means that Salah will still play at the weekend and maybe Jota goes in the middle. Would like to see Minamino play that middle role as I think that is where he excels instead of out wide where he can be pretty lost.

Still, very impressive performance from everyone and it is looking like an exciting season.
