I Don't Think Stevie Goes To Newcastle

Stevie G's name has been touted as a possible replacement for Steve Bruce in Newcastle. But if you ask me, that's unlikely given how he has his eyes on the Liverpool job.

Once Jurgen Klopp leaves, I think everybody's top choice as next Liverpool manager would be Stevie G and I think he'll do a good job. It will be hard to fill Klopp's boots but given his stature in the city and club, he could get the players to raise their game.

Newcastle have lots of money. In fact, they probably will make Man City look poor so failure is not an option. Who do they get to manage them though? Also, the transfer market only opens in January so that new manager has to work some pretty quick miracles.

If they don't appoint a proper manager and/or sporting director, I think this is going to end up a farce. What they may do though is drive up wages across the entire premier league. Imagine if they offer Salah 500,000 pounds a week that he's demanding and Liverpool are resisting.
