A Cup Week For Liverpool

A big week of cups in England with the FA cup 3rd round and EFL Cup semi-final coming up on Friday and Sunday.

Liverpool's premier league season is effectively over. Just like it was last season, it started well and then around December, the season implodes. They just don't have the squad once a few key players are missing. Poor Mo Salah. He's been the best player this season but he can't drag them on his own.

So Liverpool turn to the cups and first up will be Arsenal. Arsenal have seen an upswing in their fortunes and they will stand a good chance of beating Liverpool, especially if Liverpool rest some players.

Arteta has come good in imposing his style on the team and I think come next season, they will be top 4 contenders. I think Liverpool will win or draw this round against Arsenal. Arsenal are pretty open and unless Liverpool are misfiring again, they should be able to score a couple on the break.
