World Cup 2022 - France To Win!

The semi finals have ended and I predicted both finalists correctly! Hehe!

To recap, here's what I wrote:

1) Argentina vs Croatia: Croatia are definitely the dark horses this time and their experience and confidence in enduring long matches and winning penalty shootouts have helped them a lot. I don't think we are going to see the exact repeat of the World Cup 2018 final (i.e. France vs Croatia) so I think Argentina will advance thanks to Messi.

2) France vs Morocco: Can Morocco win the World Cup? Hmm I think so far no countries have managed to deal with their style of counterattacking play. In fact only Croatia and Spain have held them to a draw after 90 minutes. France is definitely on another level and they can score. I have a feeling that they will overcome Morocco easily.

Now onto the big matches, here's my predictions!

1. Croatia vs Morocco: This is actually a very tough match to predict, and both teams have played each other in the group stage as well. Suddenly, Belgium doesn't look too bad considering the top 2 teams in the group made it the semi finals. Anyway, I feel Croatia have enough quality to take the 3rd place and they probably learnt some pointers from France's win as well.

2. Argentina vs France: Hmm everyone wants Messi to win but player for player, France is definitely the stronger team in my opinion. I think the pressure and expectations might be too huge for Argentina and their form can be quite erratic at times (remember they lost to Saudi Arabia?). So I will go with a France win and they have had a solid tournament throughout.

So that's all for my predictions! Let's revisit them after the finals to see how many of them are correct!
