Alright so this week, we have Molten Ash Golem. This is a pretty weird one. You know, this is actually a monster that I have yet to used before. So thanks to this weekly challenge, I am using it for the very first time!

My Battle Strategy and Cards Placement

Alright, same old same old. I put a tank in front, and for fire splinter the trusty tank would be Living Lava. The abilities really make it a huge headache for any opponent it faces. Now because of Melee Mayhem, any melee monsters can attack from any position. I placed Living Lava as my first position so that it can reduce the amount of damage being taken. The 2nd and 3rd monsters are basically 1 mana monsters, which was absolutely buffed by the Equalizer match conditions. I also have Disintegrator to reduce the opponent's melee attacks, which proves to be insanely effective! Exploding rats is awesome as well. It's only drawback would be the low health. But thanks to Equaliser, this is a dream come true. Last but not least, last in line. We have Molten Ash Golem

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?

Yes! Things did add up! It was a pleasure to watch. The opponent tried to mix things up by having Cursed Windeku in the picture, which is actually pretty useful for melee based opponents due to the Thorn abilities. Nevertheless, my damage output wiped his tank pretty easily, and slowly mow the opponent down.

MVP - Exploding Rats

Sorry for the favouritism. In terms of MVP, actually I would go for Living Lava. Nevertheless, I really love Exploding Rats and the Blast abilities. In this set up, it is able to deal 3 damage to the tank, and 2 damage to the rear. With a damage output of 5 per turn, how can we miss him out?
