Weekly Challenge - Djinn Apprentice
Ok, as I type this post, I am actively trying to put out a fire at work. Madness, pure madness....
Nevertheless, I would say this week's challenge is nothing short of it too! Not an easy feat to use a magic user in an element that is famous for it's physical abilities!

My Battle Strategy and Cards Placement
Oh this is a tough one, a really tough one. It is a low mana match up with very little Splinter elements to play with. I was inclined to choose Fire Element due to Reverse Speed, as my monsters in the fire Splinter tend to be slower. I placed Living Lava, a trusty tank to fend off melee damage, and had a Djinn Apprentice behind to attempt to mow down as much as I can.
Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?
Well, kind of? I won, so I must say it did work. I thought that my Djinn Apprentice would be able to do more but hey, Living Lava was the one that carried the match. The Shield ability is awesome for a pure melee deck that the opponent is using! So yea, it works wonders! The armour as well as the high physical damage really helped! With Reverse Speed, it really brought the best in Living Lava!
MVP - Living Lava
Living Lava was an absolutely tank. It literally dished out the most damage while absorbing the most. Till the end, it was left with a meagre 1-2 health and yet delivered the winning blow. What more can you ask for?
Do you like the Djinn Apprentice? Why or why not?
Nope, I guess not. Why? My ECR went down by more than 40% accumulatively to complete this. Not the easiest to use I may say.

Agreed, living lava is a very good card against cards that have a melee attack and plays very well in silver leagues!
