Los que seguimos el beisbol venezolano sabemos que el campeonato se define en el mes de Octubre y se preguntaran porque, la razón es que es un campeonato corto (3 meses), los 8 equipos jugaran 56 juegos en la ronda regular y los 4 mejores registros pasaran al Round Robin o todos contra todo, donde se definirán los 2 mejores que irán a la final, es toda una muerte subita, por ello la importancia de ganar todos los juego que sean posible en Octubre. Otra de las características de nuestro campeonato es que para el mes de Diciembre empiezan a jugar los caballos o grandes ligas, esto le da más profundidad y competitividad a los equipos.
