WHAT COULD HAVE GONE WRONG?…
I just can’t help but wonder and think hard about what could have gone wrong in today’s match, what did our opponent have that we don’t have, and the truth is that we had all the upper hand in the game, so seeing how we lost the game in the eleventh hour made me quite unhappy…
If there’s one thing i have always been proud of about being a Liverpool fan, it’s the fact that we don’t lose when we play at the ANFIELD stadium, i mean ANFIELD stadium is our home, we know the nooks and crannies of it, this alone should give us an edge over the teams coming to play on our ground. Today didn’t go down so well as many expected today’s game to be an easy win of all matches…
I almost forgot we had a game against Nottingham forest today, i only remembered the game some minutes after the match had begun, there was no power so I decided to stream it live on soccer808, i saw the formation and it was the same as that of last week, this made me feel like something good was going to happen today…
We had our first eleven intact, non of our first eleven had injuries while representing their respective countries in the europe tournament and Afcon Cup. This gave me peace of mind before the game even commenced. The funniest thing that happened today was how many of my friends took a risky gamble, they predicted Liverpool to win straight in their tickets, and at the end of the day they all lost bitterly…
I have learnt my lessons the hard way, and that happened many years ago. I have decided to never stake my money on Liverpool again, I don’t even think i can stake a draw on them, not to talk more of staking my money on having them win any of their matches. I am telling you this as a Liverpool fan and mainly because i have been around for years…
They have made me not only happy but have also disappointed many times in the past and since then it’s an U4.5/U5.5 stake for them, or at most an U2.5 second half stake for them, and this is because of how well i know my team, they can be quite unpredictable, especially when it comes down to smaller teams…
I love every part of the first half, we possessed the game more than our opponent, we had more chances than our opponent, the first and second half was dominated by us, so why did we lose in the eleventh hour of the game, this is a question i have been asking myself since the conclusion of the game…
Honestly, Nottingham forest gave us a tough time, their defense was crazy and almost impenetrable, i saw how strong they were when we tried to secure a goal in the first half of the game. We had a lot of chances to score but then something always end up getting in the way, Diaz struck the woodwork and Mac Alisters heading was saved by the goalkeeper…
I wasn’t able to watch the second half of the match because of my lagging network, i saw how hard it was for my team to secure a goal in their own stadium, this made me do some digging on our opponent, it was at this point I realized our opponent haven’t lost a match since the league started. They’ve had 1 win, 2 draws and no loss, Liverpools defeat gave them their second straight win of the season…
Hudson-Odoi came in and secured a goal for his team in 72nd minutes of the match, i saw this late goal and gave up immediately, and that was because I knew the game has ended just there, the chances of winning became slimmer…
In summary, I must admit how tough the game was, our opponent gave their best and it gave them a great opportunity in the game, they were thorough throughout the game and that was crowned with a win for them and a loss for us…
In conclusion, i still need to watch the game highlight, I need to see where it all went wrong, especially in the second half of the game. I believe next week will be better, this is just one of those bad days, we will be back bigger, stronger and better next week. GREAT JOB GUYS, let’s do well next week…
