My Actifit Report Card: February 1 2025

Dear Friends,

Yesterday was just filled with mediocre routine work - feeding chicken and dogs, washing my car, meeting a friend and buying necessary materials for my project.

Because I was left alone at home; all others were on a trip, I had to do the dialy house chores - feeding animals. They rely on us for food so there needs to be one person present at home to feed them.

Then, I washed my car because much dust has been accumulated on the screen and I couldn't see through well. The road connecting my avocado plantation and the main road is quite dusty.

Then, I prepared the control system for remotingly swithing on and off the water pump, that would be installed at my plantation site. I intend to use sim900 shield with arduino. I will run the pump and read the water level with sms from my phone. Sim900 is now quite outdated because it only supports 2G. However, I can still use sms to communicate with it. Only when sim router's prices become economical, I will use one for uing IOT to remotely control and monitor my plantation.

Then, in the evening, I went out to buy plumbing materials for connecting pipes in my avocado plantation. And I also bought triller, that could be used with my grass cutter. I intend to make a trencher wheel to use with it - for digging trenches for embedding pipes.

Those are some of the activities for yesterday.
