Visiting nearby places of Mae Sai

Dear friends,

Yesterday, after breakfast, I rent a bike to make a tour to nearby places. I had to pay 10,000 Bahts deposit and 300 Bahts rental charge for the bile. The bike was 110 power but I found it worked ok for one man ride.

First, I went to the cave where 13 children got missiing in 2018 for 10 days. I think you might have come across the news. They were successfully recued after 10 days. It is a huge cave and access to inner caves is restricted with some tapes. It was a little mountain ascent; I had to leave my bike at the bottom of the hill and there is a transport from there to the cave on the mountain.

After spending about an hour, I continued to a cafe nearby. It is built in an orange plantation on the top of the hill. I had to buy an entrance ticket for 90 bahts with which I exchanged with a tea drink at the cafe. The view from the top is beautiful.

Then, I continued to golden triangle where Myanmar, Thai and Lao borders combined like a triangle. And there is a Mekong River passing by. I have visited there once and there is not many differences I cound find. There was a high descent and ascent but my motor bile could deal with it.

After visiting there, I returned to my hotel and took some rest.
