Daily activities - working at my avocado plantation

Dear friends,

Today, I went to my avocado plantation with my mother and eldest brother. I laid weed mats below the plants and removed the plastic tapes that were used to connect branches. We spent about one hour there and returned home. I was glad to see that the avocado plants I grew one month ago are thriving well. I will visit again next week to see if the weed mats are working as expected.

Today, I checked if my temperature sensor was working well and found that I had recorded as expected. I have installed it four days ago and it recorded all the data. I used influxDB and Grafana cloud for data storage and visualization. I am still using free plan and InfluxDB gives one month data retention for free plan. So, Grafana will be able to display data for the previous one month and that is quite sufficient for me, I think.

And for controlling remote IO devices online I will use Flespi.io. There, I can connect my devices through MQTT over TLS/SSL. In that case, I need to use ESP32 not ESP8266 because ESP32 has more processing power. At Flespi.io, I can use the MQTT broker free and can use 10 devices, 2 channels, 1 stream, 1 plugin, 10 geofences and 10 sms there.
And for my car shelter, I continued building it and today, I buried base plate for the post and tomorrow, I will do more welding so that the four posts are connected and stand on the ground. However, now it is still flat on the ground.
