Daily activities - Working on my IOT sensor

Dear friends,

Yesterday activities started with queueing for petrol early in the morning. We have not got petrol enough in our town yet and I could buy only 40,000 MMK worth petrol yesterday - that should be enough for about two week drive for me because I don't drive too much. There was a long queue of cars in front of and behind me, and it took me about an hour to get the petrol.

Yesterday, I built another IOT device with ESP8266 using Arduino IDE. I could successfully send the data to the influxDB and display them at Grafana. I used free account which allowed me 30 days retention. First, I intended to use Thingspeak to display the data but I found that at Grafana, I can customize the display the way I wanted and I preferred it. And 30 days data retention is quite enough for me.

My vision is to use IOT devices in agriculture and in industries so my next move is to find connection network where people need such devices. I think it is about connecting the dots, as Steve Jobs said. The people who are in need and those who can fulfil their need should meet.

And those are some of the activities for yesterday.
