Champions, Serbia Crash Hard Following Defeat To Bulgaria In The Olympic Qualifiers

Serbia's defeat to one of the most impressive of teams (Bulgaria) thus far in the Olympics qualifiers, smashed their hopes of participating in the competition this year.

The win by Bulgaria didn't come on a platter of gold as both teams battled it out till the end, showing glimpses of brilliance, sheer hardwork and determination going into the clash but in situations like this, only winner would emerge.

The game which ended 2-3 (21-25, 26-24, 22-25, 25-20, 13-15) in favour of Bulgaria, took as much as five sets in determining the winners of the encounter. Bulgaria's Tsvetan Sokolov came on top of the score chart after the encounter where he bagged 20 points for the winning side.
