TGIF 🎊🎉 and a very warm welcome to my report. I think it's safe to say happy holidays😹. I trust your day is going well 💯, mine has been awesome and it's now that time of day to slow down and fill you in on how it went including the trending stories that caught my eye 👀.

So I began my day with a quick walk around the neighborhood. Another cloudy chilly morning but I was dressed appropriately.
Then I was back indoors after about 20 minutes of walking ending up at the grocery.
I set out to do some house chores before settling down to some you tube videos and checking on trending stories on x.
There was some lovely sunshine 🌞 during the day for a while but by 4pm it was dark😹.
The evening saw me out for my final walk around the park before heading back indoors
So now let's quickly take a look at what has been trending.
In Gaza the bloodshed continued with 25 deaths reported across the strip😿. The Israeli airstrikes were in Jabalia, Al Nusierat refugee camp among other areas.
Not far off, top American diplomats are visiting Damascus Syria and have met the head of HTS rebel group which toppled the Assad regime.
Consequently, HTS leader al Jolani has had the $10 million bounty on his head revoked.
In the other war, Russia last night hit Ukrainian cities with a barrage of missiles🙀. Most were intercepted but some got through causing death and damage in several areas😿.
Still in Europe, Germany trending as a deranged man drove into a crowd of shoppers at a Christmas market in Magdeburg🙀.
Two killed and many injured but reports are still incoming😿. We continue to wait for who he is and the motivation behind the attack. Good thing he was arrested.
Across the pond in the US, politicians are embroiled debates over funding models. A Trump backed deal was voted down by members including republicans🙀.
They have a Friday midnight deadline before parts of govt run out of money😹.
Finally, some good news from nature. Scientists have identified 27 new species in Peru rainforest. The species include mammals, amphibians, fishes and butterflies. Hopefully human beings won't move in to destroy that thriving ecosystem 💯.
