Happy Monday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my report. We are onto a new week, headed to December, time is really flying😹. Hopefully you had or are having a great day.
Mine has been ok and it's now time to break it down including the trending stories. You definitely know the drill 😹. Thank you for stopping by and let's quickly take a look, come on💨.
So today I didn't have my morning walk, instead I handled the the house chores and kept following the trending stories.
My first walk came around noon, going to the grocery for some cooking ingredients.
It was a nice cloudy day, a little warmer than yesterday though. I walked a little further to the pharmacy picking up some prescriptions.
Anyways, my last walk was this evening enjoying the cool evening breeze around the neighborhood.
So then now let's look at the trending stories.
Starting off in Gaza, three Palestinians killed in an attack on Al Shati refugee camp 😿. Cold rainy ☔ weather is adding to the misery of displaced people🙀.
In northern Gaza, the Israeli army has forced hundreds of thousands of Palestinians from their homes🙀.
Not far off, more Israeli airstrikes hit the southern surburbs of Beirut targeting Hezbollah positions.
In the south, airstrikes in the city of Tyre killed 12 people😿.
Hezbollah also continued firing rockets and projectiles into Israel.
Israel's ambassador to the UN has said talks towards a ceasefire with Hezbollah were moving forward though a deal had not been finalized. Fingers crossed🤞.
Elsewhere in Italy, the G7 meeting kicked off with Qatar, Saudi Arabia leaders also invited to discuss the ongoing unrest in the Middle East.
Across the pond, the US justice department has applied to drop federal criminal cases against Donald Trump. The constitution requires charges be dropped before inauguration.
I wonder if the charges can be brought back after he serves his presidency term🙀.
Further down, Haiti trending as insecurity is raising again, forcing embassies and UN agencies to evacuate their staff from the capital. Gangs are reigning supreme causing unrest and chaos🙀. Let's hope order will be restored💯.
