Happy Thursday 🎊 and a very warm welcome to my report. It's been just another ordinary day stepping it out and as always it's that time of day to take a look at how everything went including the trending stories that caught my eye 👀.
Thank you for reading and let's start right away 💨.
I began with a morning walk around the neighborhood just like I do. It was quite cloudy and a little chilly as I made my way. I didn't walk long and after 15 minutes I was back indoors handling the daily chores. Before that I had a hot cup of tea to warm me up😹
Then later watched some you tube videos and trending news.
The last walk was the usual slow paced sunset 🌄 walk around the neighborhood ending up at the park 🌲. It was quite cloudy and that cold 🥶 breeze didn't make it enjoyable so I didn't get to 10k steps . The weather has gotten cooler this week😹.
Now let's jump into the trending stories.
Lebanon still trending as up to 15 huge airstrikes hit the capital Beirut today. Meanwhile the Israeli forces are clashing with Hezbollah fighters along the border🙀.
1,974 people reportedly killed across the country😿. Airstrikes reported in Bekaa valley too. Up to one and a half million people already displaced😿.
Hezbollah keeping strong, have fired over 200 rockets 🚀 into Israel even as Israeli forces push into Lebanon territory.
Not far off in Gaza, 16 people have been killed in Israeli airstrikes across the strip this Thursday😿.
Iran trending as it sent a message to Washington. They have warned of unconventional response in case of an Israeli attack🙀. Insisting that they are not seeking for a war with Israel.
But remember, Israel said they would respond to that major attack of 200 plus ballistic missile attack. Let's wait and see how it goes.
In the other war, Russia has attacked a residential buildings in kharkiv. A gas delivery truck was hit in Cherhiniv🙀.
Still in Europe, the UK has agreed to give sovereignty of Chagos islands to Mauritius. I had never had of these islands😹. However, they get to keep a part of the island where a joint UK/US army base has been built😹.
Across the pond in the US, president Biden and Kamala Harris have visited some of the areas devasted by hurricane Helene. Up to now some people are still living without electricity🙀.
Finally, let's end with more crazy weather unfolding. Powerful typhoon, Krathon has made landfall in Taiwan. Several people are missing and more than 120 injured😿. Authorities are pleading with people to stay indoors.
The heavy rain 🌧️ and winds have caused destruction leaving many without power🙀.
Let's hope the storm calms down soon. All's well that ends well 💯.
