Hello everyone 👋,

Happy Thursday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊.As always I am so grateful for this day, the very last Thursday of 2023. It's been wonderful stepping it out 💯, now that it's almost bedtime 💤 let's quickly take a look at how my day has been and also share some of the trending stories. As always thank you for reading and let's take it away 💨.
So I started the day with lots of brisk walking around the neighbourhood, today was a little warmer than yesterday which motivated me to keep going. Then I was back indoors for some resting and some of the little household chores here and there. Later in the afternoon I had to get something to cook from the shopping centre. Then back home I squeezed in the usual nap before the evening set in. Next came the slow paced evening walking session enjoying the cool breeze🍃.Throughout the day I have been following up on the trending news, that's next.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going. People still enjoying the holiday season as we look forward to the new year 2024 in a few days.
Globally, the devastation in Gaza kept going. At least 20 Palestinians killed in Israeli strike near Kuwait hospital in southern city of Rafa. The residential building was raised to the ground🙀. Chaotic and desperate scenes as people used their bare hands to dig out survivors and the dead😿.
According to Gaza health ministry, the death toll has reached 21,320 killed since October 7😭.
Trending in Israel, hundreds of people have gathered for a protest march on the streets of Tel Aviv. The demonstrators are calling for peace and an end to the violence and fighting in Gaza 💯.
Trending in Europe, Hong Kong democracy activist Tony Chung has fled to the UK to seek asylum. He felt he had no control over his life, with police scrutinizing his every move🙀.
Across the pond in the US; Gypsy Rose Blanchard has been released from prison. She plotted with her boyfriend to kill her abusive mother in a case that gripped US media. She has served seven of ten years of her sentence. Her boyfriend is serving a life sentence with no chance of parole🙀.
