Hello everyone 👋,

Happy Sunday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. It's another 24 hours to be grateful for and as the day fades away, am raring to go with my stepping activities of the day including some of the trending stories I came across. I missed out on Caturday yesterday but am back on this beautiful Sunday. Hopefully your December is coming along nicely. Thank you for being here and let's get cracking 💨.
So just like yesterday, I kicked off with the fast paced morning session. Thoroughly enjoyed the cool morning breeze 🍃 as I made my way around the neighborhood 🌲. But it was a short walk. Then I was back indoors for some rest and the daily household chores. A little bit of youtube and cooking then the afternoon saw me go out walking in the hills. Next came the refreshing nap💤. I woke up some time later in the evening and continued watching some of the earlier videos and news. Some interesting EPL matches were on.
I did finish off the day with the slow paced evening walk. Now let's quickly take a look what has been trending in the media streets.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans kept going😹, otherwise a quiet Sunday.
Gaza still trending as nearly 300 killed in 24 hours as Israel's incessant attacks continued.
Israeli ground forces were involved in street to street fighting with Hamas fighters🙀.
A Hamas spokesman later said, Israel will not be allowed to take back the captives alive, by force and without negotiations.
Over in Israel, PM Netanyahu called for Hamas fighters to lay down their arms and surrender.
Lets go to Europe, precisely in Geneva where the WHO has said Gaza's health system is on its knees. A special meeting of its executive board passed an emergency motion to secure medical access. The WHO resolution calls for immediate, sustained and unimpeded passage of humanitarian relief.
Finally, Two children of jailed Iranian activist Narges Mohammadi have accepted the Nobel peace prize on her behalf. Narges who is serving a ten year jail time in Tehran.; won this year's prize for her work fighting against the oppression of women in Iran.
In a speech smuggled from prison and read out by her children, she denounced Iran's tyrannical government.
