Hello everyone 👋,
Happy hump day 😎🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. It's been another wonderful day and as it fades away, let's quickly take a look at how my stepping went and also the trending stories that caught my eye 👀. As always thank you for stopping by and here we go again 💨.
This morning I had a few rounds of brisk walking 👣 around the neighborhood 🌲.
It was a little chilly so I didn't stay long out there.
Back indoors,I rested for a while before logging into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going and so did the election campaign rallies.
Globally, Ukraine still trending, reports of bombing in Kharkiv. Meanwhile, Russia is accused of weaponizing gas by cutting supplies to Europe😱. Elsewhere in the UK, 40,000 rail workers were on strike paralyzing transport and in Germany, passengers stranded as Lufthansa ground staff went on strike, all demanding better pay and working conditions.
Over in crypto land, bitcoin subtly up heading to 23k. The stock markets also up as the Fed hiked interest rates by 75 basis points for the 2nd straight month to tame inflation.
I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and also handled the cleaning chores of the day. Later in the afternoon I stopped by the city centre 🌲 for a few errands.
I didn't stay long and was back home for the usual afternoon nap 💤. I woke up some time early evening and continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news.
Trending in Iraq, political shenanigans as supporters of Shia cleric Al Sadr, stormed Baghdad's heavily fortified green zone and parliament buildings 😹. The Good thing is that it was largely peaceful 💯.In crazy weather, an earthquake reported in the north philippines and wild fires in Greece.
Anyways as the evening set in, I had my ginger tea ☕ and then stepped out for the sunset 🌇☀️🌅 walk. It was amazing, slow paced enjoying the cool evening breeze 🍃.
