Hello everyone 👋,
Give it up for Bob and yours truly on another exciting Caturday😹. You definitely know the drill every Saturday. It's been an active day and as it draws to a close am raring to go with my stepping activities and also share some of the trending stories. Thank you for reading and let's get started 💨.
So just like yesterday, I kicked off the day with the fast paced morning session, enjoying the cool morning breeze 🍃 as I made my way around the neighborhood 🌲.
Then I was back indoors where I rested for a while before logging into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going. Politicians holding lots of campaign rallies, telling their usual lies😵.
Globally, Ukraine still trending , heavy bombarding in the city of Lyschansk as civilians keep fleeing. Then missiles hit the southern city of Mykolaiv. Officials in Kyiv are asking Turkey to detain a Russian cargo ship with stolen ukrainian grain 😱. Elsewhere in the UK, London celebrations as they marked 50 years of pride👏🎊
Over in crypto land, bitcoin still sideways at 19k. Let's see how this first week of July goes. I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and also handled the cleaning chores of the day.
Later in the afternoon I stopped by the shopping center for some cooking groceries, walked around the mall for a while before heading back home 🏡.
Next came the usual nap 💤 dreaming off until sometime early evening when I got up feeling quite refreshed 💪. Then I continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news.
Trending in Libya, protests around the country against rising costs of living, frequent power cuts and the looming political deadlock. In Tobruk they set fire to parliament building 😱. More protests in Seoul,south Korea. People demanding better working conditions and a rise in minimum wage. Across the pond in the US, chaos at airports as people travel for the 4th July holiday. There's shortage of staff as many people resigned during the pandemic, so lots of flight ✈️ cancellation 😱.
Anyways as the evening set in, I had my ginger tea ☕ and then stepped out for the sunset 🌇☀️🌅 walk. An extended walk as always slow paced enjoying the cool evening breeze 🍃.
