Hello everyone,
Happy Tuesday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. It's another 24 hours to be grateful, hopefully your day is going great. It's that time to get ready for bed 💤, before that let's quickly take a look at how my day has been and also share some of the trending stories I came across. Thank you for reading and let's get started 💨.
So as usual I kicked off early with a few rounds of brisk walking 👣 around the neighborhood 🌲. Then I was back indoors where I rested for a while before logging into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally, a rather quiet day but the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going.
Globally, Ukraine still trending. Kyiv in a 35 hour curfew after Russia stepped up it's attacks on residential areas 😱. In a show of support, prime ministers of Poland, Slovenia and Czech republic have traveled to Kyiv. Elsewhere in Russia, a journalist who interrupted a live news broadcast with a 'no war' placard😹,has been fined and released. She was so sick of Russian propaganda, calling it a "special operation" when in reality it's a war, killing innocent civilians.
Over in crypto land, bitcoin still sideways in consolidation mostly at 38 and 39k. You know what to do, hodl and buy the dip 💯.
I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and also handled the cleaning chores of the day.
Later in the afternoon, I stopped by the shopping center for some cooking groceries and then headed back home 🏡.
Next was the usual nap 💤, dreaming off until sometime early evening. Then I continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news.
Also trending, the son of Turkmenistan's autocratic leader is set to succeed his father after election win. In India's Karnataka state, protests as court upheld the decision to ban headscarves in schools 😱. And in China, 13 cities return to lockdown after covid outbreak 😵.
Anyways, as the evening set in, I had my ginger tea ☕ and then stepped out for the sunset 🌇☀️🌅 walk. A long extended walk enjoying the cool evening breeze 🍃.
