Hello everyone 👋,
Please give it up for Bob and yours truly on this wonderful Caturday 😹.
It's been another ordinary day stepping it out. Thank you for stopping by and let's quickly take a look at how my day has been including trending news of the most senseless war in this day and age. Here we go again 💨.
So just like yesterday, I kicked off with several rounds of brisk walking 👣 and jogging 👟 around the neighborhood 🌲. Then I was back indoors where I showered 🚿 and rested for a while before logging into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going and so did the magical Kenya golf ⛳ tournament.
Globally, Ukraine still trending, the city of Kherson fell to the Russians 😢. However, people came out in large numbers to protest. The temporary cease fire to let people evacuate in Mariupol failed, each side blaming the other. Meanwhile, WFP is warning of a looming hunger crisis in the coming days😱.
Over in crypto land, bitcoin still at 39k, let's wait and see how things go in the new week ahead.
I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and also handled the cleaning chores of the day.
Later in the afternoon, I stopped by the mall, walked around a little then had the usual bowling 🎳 session with some friends.
Next I was back indoors for the usual nap 💤. It was amazing and I woke up some time early evening and continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news.
Also trending, US secretary of state, Anthony Blinken stopped by in Poland to meet Ukraine's FM in a show of support 👏. Protests have also been held in many European cities in support of Ukraine. Putin has warned of disastrous consequences if a no fly zone is implemented and he isn't calling it a war or invasion 😹.
Anyways as the evening set in I had my ginger tea ☕ and then stepped out for the sunset 🌇☀️🌅 walk. As always slow paced enjoying the cool evening breeze 🍃.
