Hello everyone 👋,
TGIF 🌟🍻 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. The weekend is upon us and the stepping continued unabated. As the day draws to a close, let's quickly take a look at how my day has been and share some of the trending stories. As always thank you for stopping by, here we go again 💨.
So just like yesterday, I kicked off with the fast paced morning session, brisk walking 👣 and jogging 👟 around the neighborhood 🌲. It was wonderful and I was back indoors around eleven o'clock.
After a little bit of resting, I was online checking out my emails and trending news of the day. Locally the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going and so did the plannedemic vaccinations. Remember the stowaway who survived in the nose wheel of a plane from Nairobi to Amsterdam 😱, is now seeking asylum. It gets to -52° with reduced oxygen levels, it's a miracle he survived the 11 hour flight. People have guts 😹.
Globally, Bukina Faso has been suspended from the west African trading bloc Ecowas, this after the military coup. Elsewhere in Europe, the Ukraine/Russia shenanigans kept going😹. Today French president Macron had talks with Putin, Putin insisted that the west have ignored Russia's security concerns 😵. Back in Ukraine, the president has called for calm as people panic over what the future holds.
Over in crypto land, people panicking too, but remember be greedy when others are fearful and vice versa💯. BTC is at 37k headed upwards but may drop back 😹, who knows.
I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and also handled the cleaning chores of the day.
Later in the afternoon, I stopped by the shopping center for some cooking groceries and then the city centre 🌲 for a while before heading back home 🏡.
Next came the usual nap 💤 dreaming off until sometime early evening. I got up and continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news.
Southern Africa is still reeling from the effects of storm Ana, it swept thru Madagascar, Malawi, and Mozambique. Deaths were reported, roads and bridges swept away. It was crazy and my sincere condolences to all concerned families 😢. In the US a bridge collaspsed in Pittsburg just after Presiadent Biden headed that way😵.
As the evening set in, I had my ginger tea ☕ and then stepped out for the sunset 🌇☀️🌅 walk. It was amazing and I made it back home 🏡 safe and sound calling it a day 🙌.
